  5 Terrorists Commanders Killed In North Waziristan 

Five terroists, and two Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan  commanders, were killed in two intelligence-based operations carried out by security forces in  North Waziristan tribal area, the military'media wing said on Sunday.

The two terrorist commanders dead during the raids in North Waziristan's Mir Ali and Kaiser areas were identified as Syed Raheem alias Abid of TTP and Saifullah Noor of TTP .According to  (ISPR) militant Raheem  Abid remained involved in 17 terrorism acts against security forces from  year 2007.

He was the incharge of two suicide bombing training  in Wana and Mir Ali areas and was "tasked by hostile agencies for  killing, recruiting new terrorists and organising them.

 Raheem  also involved in terrorist activities from November 2020 and January 2021 and was involved in  killing of four Maliks in the Mir Ali area and three engineers working in a company in North Waziristan, and many  explosive device  attacks.TTP commander Saifullah Noor, meanwhile, involved in different IED attacks on security forces in Khaisur according to ISPR.

Development comes  week after security forces killed two terrorists in  South Waziristan tribal district. An ISPR statement at  time  said Usman Ali and Waheed alias Lashtai of the banned  killed in Nargosa area during an IBO, which was carried out after an intense exchange of fire. It added that another terrorist wasinjured.

Following a lull due to success of army operations, violence  recently seen an uptick in the merged tribal districts, particularly in North and  resulting in the martyrdom of officer and soldiers and civilians. Security forces eliminated several suspected terrorists in operations in area.

Earlier this month, two soldiers were martyred and three wounded in  terrorist attack on  security check-post in Speedway area of North Waziristan.
